Um... there was something about this waaaaaaay down the page.... unsure where, but I seem to recal someone drilling the rivets out of the backplate (didn't work) and then eventually prying it out (ruining the muffler both functionally and aesthetically in the process). I think they ended up buying a supertrapp....
I've got a stock muffler I could sell you if you're interested....
